Services
Defined bookkeeping work, quoted against a written scope
We work within Sage and QuickBooks. Every engagement starts with an agreed scope so you know exactly what is and is not included.
Core services
What we do every month
Monthly bookkeeping
Ongoing transaction categorization and ledger maintenance inside your Sage or QuickBooks file, on an agreed monthly cycle.
- Consistent treatment against your chart of accounts
- Questions raised rather than assumptions made
- File left in an accountant-ready state each period
Bank and credit card reconciliation
Accounts reconciled on schedule, with differences investigated and documented so balances can be relied on.
- Agreed reconciliation schedule
- Unresolved items flagged, not carried silently
- Supporting notes kept in the accounting platform
Reporting
Standard period reports prepared from the ledger for your internal review, your accountant, or your CPA firm.
- Reports agreed as part of scope
- Prepared from reconciled data
- Delivered within your accounting software
Catch-up bookkeeping
Behind by months or years? Catch-up work is quoted separately from ongoing monthly service, because the effort depends entirely on how far behind the records are and how complex the periods were.
Separately scoped options
Payroll, accounts payable and accounts receivable are not part of standard monthly bookkeeping. They are available only as separately scoped and separately quoted options where they fit the engagement.
Fees
Individual quotes, no public price list
We do not publish fixed prices. Fees are quoted individually based on scope, transaction volume and complexity, and set out in writing before any work begins.
Records and access
Everything stays in your accounting platform
Financial records, source documents and reports remain in Sage or QuickBooks. This website does not accept financial document uploads, does not request accounting passwords, and is not connected to any accounting software.
